NPTC Pesticide Application - PA1 - Foundation Module

This course is a pre-requisite for

NPTC Pesticide Application - PA2 - Ground Crop Sprayer

This unit will cover all topics associated with the application of pesticides from a conventional boomed sprayer.

£145.00 including NPTC registration and assessment
An additional charge of £25.00 is made if this course is taken in addition to PA6A.

NPTC Pesticide Application - PA4S - Granular Application

This module is designed for those who use mounted (ATV) or trailed machinery (excluding pedestrian controlled machines or hand held equipment).

Course Content

  • PA4S

    Preparation of granule applicator for work, calibrate and operate to ensure correct application rate without risk to themselves, other people and the environment.
  • Use the information detailed on product labels to determine the approved uses for the product and its potential hazards to human safety, non-target areas and the environment in general. Carry out daily and routine maintenance of the applicator. Carry out the correct procedure for cleaning personal protective equipment which may have been contaminated with pesticide.

£145.00 including NPTC registration and assessment fee
+ £25.00 if taken in addition to NPTC Pesticide Application - PA1 - Foundation Module and NPTC Pesticide Application - PA2 - Ground Crop Sprayer

NPTC Pesticide Application - PA5 - Boat Mounted Applicators

It is essential that candidates have completed NPTC Pesticide Application - PA1 - Foundation Module prior to attending this one-day course.

Course content

  • Prepare and calibrate equipment for work without risk to themselves, others or the environment
  • Use the information on the product labels to determine the approved use for the product and its potential hazards to human safety, non-target areas and the environment in general

NPTC Pesticide Application - PA6A - Hand Held Applicators

This application unit will cover all the topics associated with applying pesticides from pedestrian operated equipment. It is essential that candidates have completed PA1 prior to attending this one-day course.

'Application to Water' can be covered at the end of PA6A course at an
additional cost of £25.00 + £10.00 NPTC registration and assessment fee.
